The rapidly emerging global economy throws up new managerial challenges and threats everyday that yesterday's managers did not have to deal with. Even today, the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are the most sought after institutes to get post-graduates qualification in management from. There are a number of other well-reputed institutes such as XLRI in Jamshedpur, XIM in Bhubaneshwar, T A Pai management Institute (TAPMI) in Manipal. Symbiosis Institute in Pune, IRMA, Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi, and other postgraduate and graduate courses offered by universities. Hyderabad is now home to a management institute. The Indian School of Business, which recently commenced its first batch, has tie-ups with some of the world's leading business schools, including the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania and the London Business School. A number of colleges affiliated to Osmania University offer both bachelor's and master's degree and diploma courses in management. These courses are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Some of the specializations include Personnel Management, Production Management, Operational Research Management, Health Service Management and Human Resources Management.
